° Making sure that your pets are properly collared and leashes or in a carrier.

COMPLETION TIME
Most grooming appointments take around 2 hours but can vary anywhere from 1-4 hours, depending on the pets behavior, coat condition, and the services being performed. We will give you an estimated completion time at drop off. Every effort will be made to keep our scheduled grooms running smoothly and we will notify you via text or phone call when they are ready to be picked up. Please do not show up early as your dog may get over-excited and prevent us from being able to finish the job or cause unintentional injury. If you need your pets done by a certain time, please let us know prior and we will do our best to accommodate it.

ESTIMATES AND FINAL PRICING
We always try to quote pricing as accurately as possible over the phone without seeing your pets in person, however, initial estimates are subject to change depending on the pets breed, size, coat type, coat condition, or temperament identified in person.
APPOINTMENT POLICIES
Please ensure that you are on time for drop offs and pick ups, as being late can negatively impact our ability to stay on schedule.
° Late Drop Off: If you are going to be late, please let us know so that we know you are on your way. If you are going to be more than 30 minutes late, we will need to reschedule your appointment to a different day. If you are more than 15 minutes late and don’t notify us, your appointment will be cancelled and marked a “no call/no show”.
° Pick Up: We ask that you promptly pick up your pet within 1-2 hours of being notified that they are ready. You will receive a notification when they are ready via text/phone call.
° Late Pick Up: If you are going to be late, please let us know so that we are aware and we would be happy to work with you! Dogs not picked up within 2 hours and with several attempts being unable to reach you will result in a $10/hr Late Pick Up Fee being applied.

CANCELLATIONS AND NO CALL/NO SHOWS
If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you please notify us at least 24 hours in advance! This gives us time to try and fill your appointment slot. Failure to adhere to this policy by cancelling same day or “no call/no showing” will result in a $25 cancelation fee per pet that will be applied to your pets next appointment should you reschedule.
Repeated cancellations without a 24-hour notice will result in a pre-paid deposit being required to book future appointments or service from Beyond All Paws being terminated.

MATTED/NEGLECTED COAT
Pets with matted coats require extra time and attention, because of this a $10-30 De-Matting Fee may be applied. We always try our best to de-mat and do what we can to save the coat but we will never cause serious or undue stress to pets by de-matting. If de-matting is too uncomfortable or we can’t do it safely, we will have to shave your pets shorter. Depending on the severity of the matting, some aftereffects of mat removal can include itchiness, redness, behavioral changes, hematomas, and higher risk for getting cuts, nicks, or abrasions. There may also be other pre-existing health conditions exposed such as skin irritation, stores, fungus or bacteria caused due to the matting. By understanding these risks, you hereby authorize Beyond All Paws to proceed with the de-matting process and release us from any liability associated with all injuries or medical problems that may be uncovered and/or occur during the de-matting process. Excessive matting can be prevented with regular brushing and scheduling regular grooming appointments. We would be happy to show you the best tools and methods that you can use at home to work on maintaining your dog’s coat to ensure it doesn’t reoccur!

AGGRESSIVE/DIFFICULT PETS
If your pet is aggressive or difficult to work with and takes longer to perform grooming services, a $10-30 Special Handling fee may be applied. We will always try our best to go slow and work with them to finish the groom. In the event that your pet becomes too stressed or too dangerous to groom making it unable for us to safely finish them, we reserve the right to stop grooming services and/or refuse future grooming services and you will only be charged for services that have been rendered up until that point.

PUPPIES
If your puppy has never been groomed before, we like to start them off with a Puppy Introduction to help get them used to the salon environment, grooming process and make it a positive experience for them. This will help reduce anxiety and allow your puppy to relax and enjoy being groomed for future appointments. Please keep in mind that more time may be necessary to work with them. Puppy Introductions will typically include a bath with hypoallergenic shampoo, blow drying, brushing, nail clipping, ear cleaning, paw pads, light trimming and sanitary if needed, and of course lots of hugs and kisses throughout! We will not do full haircuts for their first grooming appointment. Most puppies are usually ready for full haircuts by their second or third appointment, but every puppy is different, and it just depends on how they react. Owners can help desensitize their puppies to the grooming process by working with them at home by regularly brushing them and getting them used to being handled!

FLEAS/TICKS/LICE
It is recommended that your pet be checked annually by your veterinarian and put on a prevention to ensure that they are free of any parasites such as fleas, ticks, or lice.
° If either are found present on your pet during grooming, a $20-$40 Flea/Tick/Lice Bath fee may be applied, or you may be asked to pick up your pet immediately. This will only kill the live ones, so you will need to follow up with your vet for further treatment/prevention. Rescheduling will not be allowed until you are able to provide proof that your pet has been seen by a veterinarian and that they have been deemed clear of any infestation.

PET HEALTH
Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing medical conditions that we should be made aware of. If your dog is showing signs of illness, has open wounds, or has a current or recent injury, you will need to reschedule your appointment until they are better. We cannot accept any ill, injured, geriatric, or pregnant pets that are close to giving birth. By getting your dog groomed, you are presenting that they are healthy enough. We will not be liable for any pre-existing conditions exposed by grooming or forced to complete any grooming procedures that cause your pet(s) pain, stress, or discomfort.

SENIOR PETS:
Grooming can be stressful for any dog, especially a senior dog. We will always do our best to groom them according to your requests, but we will never force them through a grooming process that they are not comfortable with, that is too painful, or that they are physically unable to withstand. Because these dogs have a greater chance of injury, comfort and cleanliness always come first. We will not be held responsible for any reaction or injury due to the mental or physical stress that grooming may cause on your senior pets.
ACCIDENTS/EMERGENCY CARE
Although accidents are very rare, there is always a risk of cuts, nicks, scratches, and quicking of nails happening when it comes to handling pets and sharp tools. In most cases this happens when pets are wiggling or moving around too much or are not comfortable with a specific grooming procedure. Every effort will be made to ensure that your pet is groomed as safely as possible. In the event of an accident, you will be notified immediately. For minor accidents, we will show you what happened upon pickup, and you may choose to follow up with your regular veterinarian. For more urgent accidents, in the case of an emergency, we will seek immediate veterinary care from the nearest licensed veterinarian.

RIGHT OF SERVICE
Beyond All Paws has the right to refuse service to anyone and/or any dog for any reason.
